Grand Prix of Groveport 06.06.10:

Groveport will once again be the state time trial championship in Ohio for 2010.
Look for a bigger and better event in 2010. Master's categories will return this year! Recumbant and Standard categories will be back. Prize money will be doubled from 2009.

There will not be any course changes. Senior/Master's categories will run the 23 mile course while Juniors will stay on the 9.4 mile course.

Keep checking back for more details

Online Registration at: http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?EventID=9933
**We've lowered registration fees this year for pre-registered riders, however we've also implemented a $10 day-of registration fee so please register early.**

IT's BACK!  Yes that's right the 2-man TT is back. Do the course as an individual and then do it again with your fastest friend. No day-of penalty for 2-man.

Standard/Merckx makes it's second appearance  This category will feature the truest form of a TT: man versus the clock. No aero equipment will be permitted if you enter this category. No aerobars, No aero wheels (rims deeper than 30mm), No aero helmets (tear drop style), Skinsuits will be permitted but go against the premise. Equipment use will be at the organizers discretion.

You can do up to 2 divisions, with only a $10 entry fee for the second division and no day-of penalty (for the second division). Aero + Merckx, Aero + 2TT, Merckx + 2TT

Yes, Recumbents are welcome. However they are not permitted to have fairings of any type. Wheel covers are acceptable.

ATTENTION Parents, bring the kids with their bikes and helmets there will also be a .5 mile time trial (and shorter) for those under 10 on the bike path at the Rec Center where you can see them the entire time.

For the adults, we will be using the same course as last year. Juniors start first at 8am. Senior riders will start immediately following the last junior but not before 8:10am.

Just like last year there will be a shorter course for the Juniors. This 9.4 mile course will provide a distance for our junior competitors that will be much closer to what lies ahead of them at Nationals. The short course is ONLY for juniors. Juniors will be the first riders starting so we can accomodate the course difference. The official map will be posted later but until then you can use this: Junior Route Map

The Central Ohio Bicycle Club may ask The Chief Referee for USAC rule 1I4b and 1E4 to used if needed.

It is the rider's responsibility to enter a race in the proper class and category [disqualification and 30 day suspension for competing in the wrong class or category]. The fact that the registrars accepted the incorrect entry will not be taken as an excuse.
